#MovieReview #Meri Pyari Bindu (2017)

After two week hangover of Baahubali 2, movies released this week and amongst them we are here with the review of one of them namely #MERI PYARI BINDU (2017). Made under the banner of Yash Raj films, directed by Akshay Roy with Ayushmaan Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles, this movie is a confused and heartfelt love story.

ANALYSIS:
Entirely confused story of a young boy Abhimanyu Bubla Roy (Ayushmaan Khurrana), who is in love with a neighbouring girl Bindu (Parineeti Chopra) since their childhood but she as a confused personality leave him many a times during the story to achieve her goal of becoming singer. Filmmaker failed to show us that did Bindu achieved her goal after leaving Abhimanyu, or not.

Really poor script which goes nowhere with equally complimenting expressionless Bengali characters played by both the lead actors made the movie even worse to watch.

One serious problem with such types of love stories is that these are making the mockery of serious relations, commitments and even present marriages as biggest burden of life. No doubt marriages have lots of social obligations & responsibilities but showing marriages and serious relations in bad shape and promoting only casual relationships is truly murdering the Indian culture.

The movie looks like a complicated love stories of the present times that ends up becoming one after lots of problems but it is also not like that.

WHAT’S GOOD:
Music is the only thing which is tolerable in the movie.

NOT GOOD:
Weak or no script with no logic and Pakaau climax.

STAR PERFORMANCES:
One of the weakest ever performance of Parineeti with nearly no expression as a Bengali girl. Weak performance by Ayushmaan Khurrana as Abhimanyu Roy with no chemistry with Parineeti. However, his role of narrator is better than his role as a hero.

FINAL WORDS:
I have wasted my time and money, you can save both.

My ratings for this movie is 1.5 out of 5 stars.

So keep following the page, good day till the next review
