Settled Life

After doing hardwork

for my matric exam,

as instructed by dad,

I thought my life would be set

After my toiling effort

again in senior secondary

as instructed by dad,

I thought my life would be set

Again after another stint

of cracking engineering seat,

as instructed by many,

I thought my life would be set

Even after four years

of rigorous hardwork,

when passed engineering,

I thought my life would be set

From the large army

of unemployed engineers,

when I cracked job in an MNC,

I thought my life would be set

After trying to do my work

with commitment & dedication,

as instructed by Manager,

I thought my life would be set

After the lifelong journey,

of confronting  hardships

at each & every milestone,

I understood, is itself Life
